Apple under scrutiny in India over alleged App Store abuse

iPhone manufacturer Apple is under investigation by India’s antitrust regulator over allegations that its in-app purchasing system violates the country’s competition law.

Apple mandates that all payments be made through its in-app system, which charges a commission of up to 30 percent. That system is being challenged by regulators in numerous other jurisdictions
