Apple, Amazon come under Spanish antitrust scrutiny over retail sales

Suspected curbs on the sale of Apple products by independent sellers over Amazon's website are under antitrust investigation in Spain.

The national competition watchdog has opened a probe into possible breaches of EU antitrust law against restrictive business practices. 

In a statement, it said there was potentially an illegal agreement between the two companies
