Amazon's antitrust scrutiny in Germany sharpens with platform ruling

Germany's antitrust watchdog has branded Amazon a platform of "paramount significance for competition across markets," meaning the company can subsequently be forced to change its business after a further investigation.
The decision (see here) is part of a new German law that allows officials to seek out large digital players
