Amazon could be subject to market study from UK antitrust watchdog, executive says

Amazon could be subject to a UK market study over its platform practices, a Competition and Markets Authority executive has indicated.

Amelia Fletcher, non-executive director of the CMA, said online marketplaces are a likely area of future scrutiny for the regulator, given its previous work in the digital sector.
