Altria scientist says e-vapor products were stuck in quagmire of design flaws, US regulatory delays

Altria’s e-vapor products were poorly designed, suffered from repeated malfunctions and delayed regulatory applications time and again, an Altria scientist told a Federal Trade Commission court today. 

The FTC sued to unwind Altria’s $12.8 billion stake in Juul Labs Inc. (JLI) in April 2020. The government alleges the investment and associated agreements
