Altice fine went beyond the 'scope' of gun-jumping rules, EU court told

Altice today urged EU judges to annul a fine for jumping the gun on its buyout of PT Portugal, saying investigators had wrongly imposed the sanction for merely holding the “possibility to exercise decisive influence” over its target before antitrust approval.
