Ademir Picanço to become CADE's head of merger, antitrust for Unit 4

Ademir Picanço will be appointed head of the Brazilian competition authority's Merger and Antitrust Unit 4, after Cristiane Landerdahl de Albuquerque leaves the post in February, MLex has learned.
Picanço's appointment will be formalized with a publication in the country's Official Journal, which is expected soon.
