Comment: US still wary of foreign digital taxes, but aims to ease tensions over tariffs through global talks

US trade chief Katherine Tai’s decision to delay the imposition of tariffs on nearly $2 billion worth of imports from six countries for six months signals the Biden administration’s good-faith effort to prioritize international negotiations that were often eschewed by the Trump administration.
