Comment: US duty-evasion probes on solar imports still hang over industry despite Biden’s two-year duty delay

US President Joe Biden’s national emergency action today to exempt Southeast Asian solar products from trade remedy duties for two years is a relief for clean energy companies, but they still face the threat of retroactive duties as the Commerce Department continues to conduct investigations on whether those imports evaded existing duties.
