Comment: In Vietnam tire subsidy case, US Commerce upholds Trump-era currency devaluation rule

The US Commerce Department’s final determination this week that tires from Vietnam have been subsidized by an undervalued currency follows through on a controversial trade remedy rule the Trump administration authorized last year.
It's the first time Commerce made this conclusion in an antisubsidy investigation since the rule was approved
