Comment: EU raid on Zoetis may have links to antitrust dispute over osteoarthritis drug

This week’s dawn raids by EU antitrust enforcers at the Belgian premises of US animal drug company Zoetis could be linked to a complaint filed by French rival Virbac earlier this year regarding osteoarthritis medicine for dogs.

Zoetis said it was the subject of unannounced inspections on Monday at its Belgia
