Comment: Broadcom, VMware likely to tell US enforcers their deal differs from Nvidia-Arm

Broadcom is likely to tell US antitrust enforcers that while its $61 billion acquisition of VMware combines two key players in the server and cloud business, the combination doesn’t present horizontal harms or traditional vertical threats and that the deal isn’t comparable to Nvidia’s failed attempt to acquire Arm in February.
