Comment: After a year of shared antitrust duties, JFTC stamps its mark on Japan's economic policies

2022 has been a year of change and upheaval for Japan’s antitrust agency. While remaining the primary competition regulator, the Japan Fair Trade Commission, or JFTC, saw part of its oversight of antitrust enforcement and policy-building handed over to government agencies.
