The Impact of Innovation in Merger Control – New York 2017
THIS EVENT HAS BEEN CANCELLED DUE TO WINTER STORM WARNING
In recent years there has been a sharp rise in the role of innovation in the merger review process. The European Commission, US Department of Justice and FTC are now placing the competitive harm caused by the potential reduction of innovation on equal footing with increased prices and reduced output. This free half day conference brings together private practitioners, regulators, academics and key stakeholders to discuss the growing role of innovation in the merger review process.
Deborah L. Feinstein was appointed the Director of the FTC's Bureau of Competition (BC) by Chairwoman Edith Ramirez on June 17, 2013. She oversees the Commission attorneys, investigators, and administrative personnel working to enforce the antitrust laws for the benefit of consumers.
