Prior to co-founding MLex in 2005, Robert built his career as a Bloomberg News journalist covering financial services, mergers & acquisitions and antitrust in London, Paris and Brussels.
Having cemented a reputation for providing inside insight and commentary on the risk to business from government regulation and intervention, he quickly gained investor support for the news start-up that became MLex.
Robert continues to be a leading commentator on antitrust and competition policy, and is a frequent conference speaker on issues relating to international policy implementation.
Prior to co-founding MLex in 2005, Duncan spent ten years covering EU trade and regulatory issues in Brussels for sector newsletters and UK broadsheets, going on to become Editor-in-Chief of political information service EUPolitix.
Duncan continues to be a leading commentator on international trade conflicts and EU Court disputes.
Lewis leads MLex’s coverage on competition policy and enforcement, focusing extensively on the issues of cartels, regulation and state aid.
He has a reputation for breaking stories and providing analysis on complex legal disputes before regulators around the globe. He also developed MLex’s unrivalled coverage of proceedings before the EU courts in Luxembourg as well as billion-dollar litigation in the UK, Netherlands, Germany and the US.
A graduate of Oxford University, Lewis worked in academia at the Charles University in Prague prior to becoming a journalist.
Prior to joining Mlex Scott has enjoyed a career spanning more than 20 years in the information industry working around the world for companies such as Dow Jones, Factiva, Wolters Kluwer and LexisNexis. He has a broad experience of the information industry having worked in the business news, company information, legal software and the regulatory risk markets.
Scott started his career in sales but in recent times has specialised in providing commercial leadership to drive dramatic growth for businesses in the post start-up phase. Particularly for those companies looking to drive international expansion into new markets.
Bruce has worked in the business information sector for over twenty years and has extensive international experience.
He joined MLex in 2011 from Global Financial Technology, a Shanghai-based venture-backed financial information start-up, where he was CEO.
Prior to this, Bruce held senior commercial roles with Reuters, Factiva and Dow Jones in Europe, North America and Asia, most recently as Vice President and Managing Director of the Dow Jones Enterprise Media Group in Asia Pacific.
Kate is an ACMA with extensive experience in large corporations. Qualified in 2007 while working at Motorola Ltd she moved into the media and information industry with roles at News UK and Penguin Random House.
In recent years, Kate has focused on supporting business development, product diversification and financial change. She joined MLex in 2016.
